On the 16th of January, I attended Cai’s workshop on radical quilting. I learned a lot about the roots of this practice.
I was struck by the work of Faith Ringold who used quilting as a weapon to address social causes such as race, gender and class.

On a more light-footed note, we got a chance to try quilting collectively. Very fond of textile crafts, I really enjoyed the moment. Quilting is a great inspiration for my future projects!
