Cross Year: Manifesto

During Stephanie Jin’s Manifesto! workshop, I learned to use language as an expressive tool. The ambiguity of the word “let,” repeated anaphorically at the beginning of each sentence, allowed me both to authorize the craft to exist and to encourage it to do so. I was drawn to this permissive, non-violent phrasing.

Although unfinished (conceived, shot, and edited during the class), this project explores different ways of bringing the art of stop motion to life, dynamically introducing its viewer to its various stages of production.
